FAQs
How does it work?
We deliver the sauna to your location, set it up, and walk you through everything you need to know. All you need is a flat spot, and your towel. Once it’s hot, it’s all yours to enjoy. You'll need approximately 20 foot space, and 13 foot overhead clearance.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, a towel or robe, water, and maybe a friend or two. We recommend staying hydrated and wearing whatever makes you comfortable — most people go in swimsuits or wrapped in a towel. (P.S. Leave your jewelry at home.)
How long does it take to heat up?
It typically takes about 1-1 1/2 hours to reach that perfect steamy temperature, depending on the weather. We’ll make sure it’s prepped and ready for your session.
How many people fit inside?
Our sauna comfortably fits 6-8 people, depending on how cozy you’d like to get. Perfect for small gatherings, recovery sessions, or solo sweats.
What are the benefits of sauna use?
Regular sauna use can help improve circulation, ease sore muscles, support detoxification, reduce stress, and boost mood. Beyond the science, it just feels really good to slow down and sweat it out.
I’ve never used a sauna before — is it safe?
Absolutely. We’ll walk you through the basics before you start. As long as you listen to your body, stay hydrated, and take breaks when needed, you’ll be just fine. However, individuals with health conditions or pregnancy should consult their doctor before using the sauna. Those with heart conditions or diabetes are not recommended to use the mobile sauna without consulting a doctor.
How do you regulate the temperature within a wood-fired sauna?
The sauna typically reaches 150-200°F over 1-2 hours. Temperature can be maintained by adding additional firewood or adjusting airflow. Increasing heat is done by adding more wood and dampening down the flue, while reducing heat is achieved by leaving the heater drawer slightly ajar.
How difficult is it to fire-up a wood-burning stove?
The wood-burning stoves are efficient and require minimal maintenance to reach the desired temperature. On average, 3-4 logs need to be added between lighting and using the sauna. Instructions are provided for lighting and operating the sauna.
How do you keep your saunas clean?
Saunas are cleaned between users using non-toxic cleaners. High temperatures inside the sauna prevent bacteria and viruses from surviving on surfaces or in the air.
